During the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the appropriate connection method is crucial. This ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section presents several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each method.

01, Before beginning installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Conduct an empty run test on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp ensuring that the extension length at both ends is equal. Support the parts outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, then secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, release the pressure, let the milling cutter idle for two to three turns, retract the movable frame, and turn off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and align the pipes at both ends. Check the end face, ensuring the displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure no significant gap exists between the two end faces, and the gap width complies with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, ensuring the pipe's end face contacts the heating plate. Continue heating until the specified time is achieved.

06, When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends with minimal delay, ensuring the switching time does not exceed the specified value. The closing pressure should be moderate to prevent squeezing out molten material, which could degrade welding quality.07, Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it for cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
