Installation Instructions

 

The installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube is a critical step in ensuring the reliable operation of your power piping system. Selecting the right connection method is paramount, and this section provides comprehensive guidance on various common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods. Understand the characteristics and applications of each method to make informed decisions.

01. Before commencing installation, verify that the welding machine's power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate align with the welding requirements. Perform a trial run of the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install slips compatible with the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature, and ensure its surface is pristine by cleaning with soft paper or alcohol.

02. Eliminate any debris from both pipe ends. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension at both ends, supported adequately outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, secure the slip, and insert a milling cutter to mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until both ends exhibit continuous cutting. Then, remove the pressure, allowing the milling cutter to idle for several rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Extract the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Ensure the end face displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, the gap between the pipe ends should comply with the standard, such as 0.3MM for DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly position it into the rack and apply the designated pressure until the pipe ends' circumference curls to the specified height. Reduce the pressure to allow the pipe ends to contact the heating plate, continuing to heat for the required duration.

06.When the heat absorption time is met, retract the movable frame and rapidly remove the heating plate. Close the pipe ends swiftly, ensuring the closing pressure is not excessive to avoid molten material expulsion, which can degrade welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value for cooling. After natural cooling to ambient temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe to complete the welding process.
