Installation Instructions

 

(1) CPVC Power Pipe Laying and Installation

1. The standard fixed length for CPVC power conduit is 6 meters. Each conduit is paired with 3 sets of pipe sleepers, maintaining a spacing of 2.0 meters between sleepers and positioning them 0.5 meters away from the joint.

2. CPVC power protective casings can be manually installed. Ground personnel should transfer the pipe material to the construction crew at the trench's bottom. Rolling pipes into the groove is strictly prohibited.

3. If length adjustments are needed for the CPVC power protective casings, mechanical tools should be used for cutting. Ensure that the cut is perpendicular to the axis of the pipe pillow, resulting in a smooth and flat surface.

 

(2) CPVC Power Sheath Connection

1. CPVC power protective casing connections are made using either socket or interface connections.

2. Mark the surface of the CPVC power conduit connection with an indication of the insertion length. After insertion into the socket, verify that the insertion indicator is accurate and properly positioned.

3. Before connecting the CPVC power protective sleeve, clear any soil or attachments from the pipe socket's exterior and the rubber ring's interior. This facilitates a proper connection and prevents water leakage.

 

(3) Backfill Soil
1. Trench backfilling should commence after the concealed pipeline project has been accepted. Backfill promptly to avoid damage caused by prolonged exposure of the pipeline.
2. Ensure that the area around the CPVC power protective casing is backfilled with soft soil.
3. Manually fill backfilling soil into the ditch; mechanical backfilling is strictly prohibited.
4. The backfill soil quality must meet design-specified density requirements.
