Installation Instructions

1. Each pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection per product standards before being laid. If it fails to meet the criteria, laying the pipe is strictly forbidden.

2. Handle the pipes with care during transportation—lift and place them gently. Dragging, rolling, or using forklifts and tractors within the trench is strictly prohibited to prevent damage.

3. Ensure no water accumulates in the trench during pipe laying. Ideally, dig the trench in tandem with the pipe laying process. Determine trench length based on the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe’s outer diameter. Immediately backfill completed interfaces with medium coarse sand.

4. When cutting the pipe to the required length, use mechanical methods for precision. Ensure the cutting surface is flat and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames.

5. For diameter changes or branch connections, utilize matching pipe fittings. Do not create holes in pipes and fittings for connections.

6. Lay the pipe according to the design slope requirements. Ensure the elevation error does not exceed the values specified for prestressed concrete pipes in the current national standard 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering' GB 50268.

7. Utilize fusion or flange connections in low or near-minimum ambient temperatures. Clean the socket, sleeve, seal, and other connection accessories thoroughly, ensuring no soil, water, or impurities are present. For metal components like flanges and bolts, apply anti-corrosion measures tailored to the site’s soil conditions and conforming to relevant standards.
