Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize the advanced techniques of electric fusion welding and hot melt docking. Absolutely refrain from employing screw connections or bonding methods. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with precision using specialized tools. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating to ensure uniformity and reliability. Before starting the connection, perform a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the stringent standards required.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are impeccably clean. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Conduct an immediate inspection of the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a perfect seal.

 

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, as well as the pipes and fittings, to achieve optimal results.

5. Follow the precise pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or exert pressure on the connecting parts during these periods to ensure a flawless connection.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and meticulously check for water tightness to confirm the integrity of the connection.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after rigorously passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and specifications have been fully met.
