Installation Instructions

 

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. Prohibit screw connections and bonding methods. Ensure that each connection of the polyethylene water supply pipeline utilizes specialized tools. Avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Ensure the polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to beginning the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to confirm that the quality meets the required standards, guaranteeing a reliable and secure connection.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, the pipe ends must be clean and pristine. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Inspect the interface immediately upon completing the connection to ensure a secure fit.

 

4. Thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to achieve optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring a strong and secure bond.

6. After the connection is completed, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any trapped air, and then check for water tightness to ensure the system's integrity.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is only deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all safety and quality standards have been met.
