The primary methods of joining include meticulous butt fusion, innovative electrical fusion, seamless socket fusion, versatile flange adapter connection, and robust compression connection—ensuring unparalleled reliability and performance.

1. Establishing the pipeline requires a solid earth arc base. For standard soil conditions, a foundational layer of medium coarse sand with a thickness of 100mm is essential, laid meticulously on undisturbed soil or a compacted backfilled foundation beneath the pipe. In cases of suboptimal soil quality, replace with a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness, possibly in two layers: a lower layer of gravel (particle size 5~32mm) at 100~150mm thick, and an upper layer of coarse sand, no less than 50mm thick. The base density must adhere to Table 2 standards. For soft soil foundations, reinforce the base when bearing capacity falls short of design requirements or is compromised by factors such as construction precipitation. Once target bearing capacity is achieved, proceed with laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner, within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation, must be expertly backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. This backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30, with compactness conforming to stringent technical regulations, ensuring structural integrity and durability.

3. When handling socket interface grooves and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation, excavation should synchronize with pipeline installation. Determine the groove's dimensions—length, width, depth—based on the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure the required density and stability.

4. In sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement, due to pipeline load variations or changes in ground soil, pre-reinforcement of the foundation is imperative before pipeline installation. This proactive approach ensures long-term steadiness and function.
For the treatment of polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, employ composite foundation methods such as sand pile and stone pile treatments. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain flexibility and adaptability.
