Installation Instructions

 

1. Thoroughly inspect each pipe segment according to the product standards prior to installation. Any pipe that fails to meet these stringent standards must not be laid, ensuring only the highest quality materials are used.

2. Handle the pipes with utmost care during transportation. Pipes should be lifted and placed gently-never dragged, rolled, or moved with forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment within the trench. This prevents damage and maintains pipe integrity.

3. Ensure the trench remains dry during the pipe laying process. It is recommended to excavate the trench in conjunction with laying the pipe. The groove dimensions should align with the interface length, with a depth ranging between 50-100mm and a width equal to the pipe's outer diameter. Swiftly backfill grooves with medium-coarse sand immediately after completing the interface.

4. When cutting the pipe to the required length, utilize mechanical cutting methods to achieve a flat, perpendicular cut to the pipe axis. Open flames are strictly prohibited to avoid compromising the pipe's integrity.

 

5. For diameter changes or branch connections, always use appropriately matching pipe fittings. Avoid making holes in pipes and fittings for connections, as this can lead to leaks and structural failures.

6. Lay the pipes according to the specified slope in the design requirements. The elevation error must not exceed the values specified in the national standard GB 50268 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering' for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. Use fusion or flange connections, especially in lower temperatures. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are clean and free from soil, water, and impurities. Implement anti-corrosion measures for metal components like looping flanges and bolts, adhering to site-specific soil quality and corresponding standards.
