Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes for HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include both mechanical connections and a range of thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections.

1. The pipeline should be based on an earth arc. For standard soil quality, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe's bottom. For poor soil quality, a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick may be used, which can be laid in two layers: a lower layer made of 5~32mm particle size gravel, 100~150mm thick, and an upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density should comply with Table 2's provisions. In the case of a soft soil foundation, if the bearing capacity is less than design requirements or if construction precipitation disturbs the soil, the foundation must first be strengthened. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, a medium coarse sand foundation layer should be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness of the backfill must comply with technical regulations.

3. The grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should be determined based on the pipe joint size. Following joint completion, medium coarse sand should be immediately used to backfill to ensure proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors like pipeline load or changes in ground soil, the foundation should be reinforced prior to pipeline installation.
For foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, methods such as sand pile and stone pile composite foundation treatments should be used. Rigid foundation treatments like driven pile, concrete pad, and concrete strip foundations should be avoided.
