Installation Instructions

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Absolutely avoid the use of screw connections or bonding. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed meticulously with specialized tools. Under no circumstances should open flames be used for heating during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings that match in brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a rigorous test to confirm that the quality meets the required standards, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

3. During the connection of polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain the pipe ends in pristine condition. At the conclusion of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to guarantee a flawless join.

4. Before and after executing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, as well as the pipes and fittings.

5. Comply with the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure and durable connection.

6. Post-connection, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour following the completion of the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Ensure the pipeline is filled with water, purge all air, and then verify water tightness to guarantee a leak-free system.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed fully operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and specifications are met with precision.
