The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass advanced mechanical connections alongside a series of precision thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and secure pipeline system.

1. The pipeline should be supported by an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base layer on undisturbed soil or well-compacted backfill below the pipe. If the soil quality is substandard, use a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness, possibly in two layers: a 100-150mm thick layer of 5-32mm gravel at the bottom and a 50mm thick layer of coarse sand on top. The base density must meet Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity fails to meet design requirements due to precipitation or other factors, strengthen the foundation first, then lay the medium coarse sand base layer after achieving the specified bearing capacity.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range must extend at least 30 degrees beyond the supporting angle 2α, and the compactness of the backfill must meet technical regulation standards.

3. The grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with pipeline laying. Determine the groove dimensions based on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediately backfill the area with medium coarse sand to ensure density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors like pipeline load and soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to prevent potential issues.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, as these are not suitable for polyethylene drainage systems.
