Installation Instructions

1. For optimal installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to exclusively use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly forbidden. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools, and strictly avoid using open flames during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards, guaranteeing a flawless connection.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure that the pipe ends are pristine and clean. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to protect against contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing each connection for quality assurance.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure a secure weld.

5. Follow the exact pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to disturb or apply additional pressure to the connected parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. After completing the connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within 1 hour after the hot-melt weld is completed. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and check for water tightness to ensure a reliable connection.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all connections and installations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
