Installation Instructions

 

In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the correct connection method is paramount. Choosing the right method guarantees the reliable operation of your power piping system. This section presents several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, aiding you in understanding the features and application scenarios of each technique.

01. Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary requirements. Perform an empty test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, among other components. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the designated welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02. Clean any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. The sections outside the pipe rack should be supported adequately. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert the milling cutter, and begin milling the pipe.

03. Continue milling until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, remove the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three cycles before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Inspect the end faces to ensure the displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure no visible gap exists between the pipe end faces, adhering to the gap width specification: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack, applying the prescribed pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling height is achieved. Reduce the pressure to the specified level, ensuring the pipe end faces contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the designated time.

06.When the heat absorption time is met, retract the movable frame, swiftly remove the heating plate, and close the pipe ends. Minimize the switching time to within the specified limit. Maintain a controlled closing pressure to prevent molten material from being squeezed out, which could compromise welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during the cooling period. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe, completing the welding process.
