During the installation process of the Sleek MPP Electric Cable Pipe, selecting the correct connection method is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of the power piping system. In this section, we introduce several common connection methods for MPP power cable protection tubes to help you understand their characteristics and application scenarios.

01. Before installation, verify if the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding standards. Perform an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch and similar components. Install the slips matching the pipe specifications into the rack. Adjust the heating plate to the welding temperature, and before heating, clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains.

02. Remove dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with appropriate supports. Align the pipe at the same height as the frame's centerline, then secure the slip. Insert and mill the pipe using a milling cutter.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends, then remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three cycles before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end faces; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no visible gap between the two end faces, and the gap width should comply with: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling reaches the set height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, allowing the pipe end face to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified time.

06. When the heat absorption period reaches the specified time, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends with minimal switching time, not exceeding the specified duration. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material, which can degrade welding quality.07. Raise the pressure to the specified value and maintain it until the pipes cool naturally to room temperature. Release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe, completing the welding process.
