Key methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, as well as flange adapter and compression connections. All of which ensure a secure and durable installation.

1. Begin by preparing the pipeline base with utmost precision. On standard soil, craft a medium coarse sand base layer, precisely 100mm thick, atop the undisturbed soil or compacted foundation beneath the pipe's base. For challenging soil conditions, opt for a more robust sand gravel layer, no less than 200mm thick. Consider a dual-layer approach: a lower gravel layer, sized 5~32mm, at 100~150mm thick, topped with a sturdy upper coarse sand layer of at least 50mm. Ensure the base density aligns with Table 2 standards. Address soft soil foundations by enhancing the foundation's bearing capacity if it doesn't meet design criteria, possibly due to construction-related factors. Once stabilized, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Precision in backfilling is crucial for the axillary corners within the pipeline's earth arc foundation support angle. Utilize medium coarse sand or gravel soil for backfilling, ensuring it extends beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees. Adhere to technical regulations to attain the required compactness, ensuring robust support and stability.

3. As you lay the pipeline, synchronously dig grooves for the socket interfaces and sleeve connections into the foundation. Tailor the groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—precisely to match the pipe joint specifications. Post-joint completion, diligently backfill with medium coarse sand to maintain optimal density, ensuring long-term integrity and performance.

4. Be proactive in reinforcing foundation sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or soil changes. Prior to pipeline laying, fortify these areas to prevent future issues, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, employ sophisticated composite treatment methods such as sand or stone piles. Avoid rigid methods like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, ensuring flexibility and durability in line with modern engineering practices.
