Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods for unmatched performance and enduring durability. Screw connections or bonding methods should be strictly avoided as they compromise the pipeline's integrity and strength. Each type of polyethylene pipeline connection should be executed using specialized tools crafted for precision and reliability. To prevent damage and ensure safety, steer clear of open flames during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be seamlessly connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating to ensure absolute compatibility and reliability. Before initiating the connection, conduct a thorough and comprehensive test to confirm that the quality meets the stringent required standards, thus guaranteeing a secure and enduring pipeline.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends remain in pristine condition to facilitate a seamless and efficient connection. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the close of each work session to guard against contamination. Upon completing the connection, immediately inspect the interface for security and defect-free assurance.

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to ensure optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality. Adhere faithfully to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, pipes, and fittings to achieve the best and most reliable results.

5. Adhere strictly to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring a robust and stable connection that stands the test of time.

6. Following connection, conduct a rigorous water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour post hot-melt weld to ensure the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Secure the pipeline and reveal all joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, thoroughly purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness, confirming a successful and sound connection.

7. Only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection can the pipeline engineering construction be deemed operational, certifying that all rigorous standards and specifications have been met for a safe, effective, and dependable water supply system.
