Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as types B and C tubes, encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. Key connection methods include butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base layer on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation underneath the pipe. If the soil is of poor quality, use a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick or a two-layer approach with a 100~150mm thick gravel layer (particle size 5~32mm) on the bottom and a minimum 50mm thick coarse sand layer on top. The base density should adhere to Table 2's guidelines. For soft soil foundations with insufficient bearing capacity or disturbed due to construction activities, strengthen the foundation until it meets the specified requirements before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corners within the earth arc foundation's supporting angle range must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should exceed the supporting angle 2α by at least 30°, and the compactness must comply with technical regulations.

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections should be dug concurrently with pipeline laying. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth based on the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to the appropriate density immediately.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, use composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
