Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure there are no faults.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to guarantee optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring stability and strength of the joints.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness to guarantee a leak-free system.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, confirming that all standards have been met and the installation is secure and reliable.
