Installation Instructions

 

1. Before commencing installation, meticulously inspect each pipe to confirm it meets all stringent product standards. Pipes that fail to comply must not be installed under any circumstances.

2. Exercise extreme caution when handling pipes during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or employing heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractors for trench movements.

3. Maintain a water-free trench during pipe laying. Ideally, synchronize trench digging with pipe laying. The trench groove length should match the interface length, with a 50-100mm depth and a width equal to or exceeding the pipe's outer diameter. Backfill with medium coarse sand immediately post-interface completion.

4. Use mechanical methods for cutting pipes to the required lengths, ensuring a clean, flat cut perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid open flames for cutting.

 

5. Always use appropriate pipe fittings for changing diameters or connecting branch pipes. Refrain from creating openings directly on pipes or fittings.

6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope in the design requirements, ensuring elevation errors remain within the limits set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. In low ambient or near-minimum temperatures, use fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are clean and free from contaminants like soil or water. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components, including looping flanges and bolts, based on soil quality and relevant standards.
