Installation Instructions

The connection modes for our HDPE double-wall bellows, along with b and c tubes, are meticulously designed to include both mechanical connection and a sophisticated array of thermal fusion techniques. Key methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, each ensuring a robust and seamless integration.

1. The pipeline installation should commence on a stable earth arc foundation. For areas with typical soil conditions, it is recommended to lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the untouched soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. In scenarios where the soil quality is suboptimal, a sand gravel base of at least 200mm thickness may be employed, potentially in two layers: the lower being gravel with a particle dimension of 5~32mm, and thickness ranging from 100~150mm, topped with a coarse sand layer of no less than 50mm. The compactness of the base must align with the standards detailed in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, should the natural bearing capacity fall short of design specifications due to interruptions like construction-related subsidence, the original foundation soil must first be fortified. Once the prescribed bearing capacity is achieved, the medium coarse sand foundation layer can be installed.

2. The axillary corner in the pipeline's earth arc foundation must be judiciously backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil, extending beyond the supporting angle 2α by an additional 30 degrees. This ensures adherence to technical regulations regarding backfilling compactness and structural integrity.

3. For socket interfaces and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation, precise groove excavation should be synchronized with the pipeline laying process. The groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—are to be tailored to the pipe joint size, ensuring immediate backfilling with medium coarse sand to maintain optimal density post-joint completion.

4. In pipeline sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to variables such as pipeline load or shifting ground soil, it is crucial to implement foundation reinforcement prior to pipeline installation. This proactive step safeguards against potential structural inconsistencies.
For efficient foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand pile or stone pile techniques. Avoid rigid foundation measures like driven pile, concrete pad, or concrete strip foundation, which are not suitable for this application.
