Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of our High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) double-wall bellows, as well as b and c tubes, encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and reliable infrastructure.

1. For pipeline installation, an earth arc foundation is essential. For typical soil conditions, lay a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on the undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. In cases of poor soil conditions, use a sand gravel base layer not less than 200mm thick. This can be laid in two layers: a 100-150mm thick layer of 5-32mm gravel below, topped with a coarse sand layer of at least 50mm thickness. Ensure the base density adheres to the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is inadequate or affected by construction precipitation, reinforce the foundation first. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the compactness must comply with the technical regulations.

3. During pipeline installation, grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth must match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to ensure stability and integrity.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain flexibility and durability.
