Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass mechanical connection and a series of sophisticated thermal fusion procedures. The primary connection methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection. Each method ensures a robust and reliable union for optimal performance.

1. The pipeline should be based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, lay a layer of medium coarse sand base with a thickness of 100mm on the undisturbed soil foundation or the foundation with backfill compaction below the bottom of the pipe. When foundation soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel base layer with a thickness of no less than 200mm. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer composed of gravel (5~32mm particle size), 100~150mm thick, and the upper layer of coarse sand, not less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or construction precipitation disturbs the original soil, thus affecting foundation bearing capacity, the foundation must first be strengthened. After achieving the specified bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the backfilling compactness must conform to technical regulations.

3. The grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth according to the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to pipeline load and ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to prevent potential settlement issues.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite foundation treatment methods such as sand pile or stone pile. Avoid using rigid foundation treatment measures like driven pile, concrete pad, and concrete strip foundation, as they are unsuitable for this type of drainage pipe.
