Installation Instructions

 

1. For the reliable installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Never employ screw connections or bonding. Ensure that every polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed using specialized tools, and avoid any use of open flames for heating during the process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards.

3. To ensure optimal connections, maintain pristine pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session and immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

 

4. Prior to and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Strictly adhere to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the exact pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is critical not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints before the hydrostatic test, fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is deemed operational only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
