Installation Instructions

 

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods to ensure longevity and reliability. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed, as they can compromise the integrity of the pipeline. Always utilize specialized tools for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to prevent potential damage.

2. For optimal performance, polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards, guaranteeing a seamless and secure connection.

3. Maintain pristine pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines to ensure a clean and robust connection. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure it is secure and intact.

 

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to avoid any impurities. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings, to ensure a perfect weld every time.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. Post-connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then rigorously check for water tightness to ensure the reliability of the connection.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. This ensures that all connections and installations meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
