During the installation of MPP power cable protection tubes, choosing the correct connection method is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of the power piping system. This guide introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, detailing their characteristics and application scenarios to help you make an informed choice.

01. Before beginning installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary welding requirements. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that correspond to the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the required welding temperature and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02. Clean both ends of the pipe thoroughly. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with appropriate supports. Align the pipe with the centerline of the frame and secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter to begin milling the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, release the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.
 
04. Remove the milling cutter and close the ends of the pipes together. Check the end faces; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure there is no significant gap between the pipe ends, and that the gap width adheres to the specified standard: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the curling reaches the desired height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value to bring the pipe ends into contact with the heating plate and maintain heating for the specified duration.

06.Once the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the pipe ends together as quickly as possible, ensuring the switching time does not exceed the specified limit. Apply closing pressure carefully to avoid squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during the cooling phase. Allow the welded joint to cool naturally to room temperature. Once cooled, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
