The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows with B and C tubes are versatile and robust, encompassing both mechanical connections and an array of advanced thermal fusion techniques. Key connection modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline installation should be based on an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, a medium coarse sand base layer with a 100mm thickness should be laid on undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. For poor soil quality, a sand-gravel base layer with at least 200mm thickness is recommended, which can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 5~32mm gravel (100~150mm thick) and the upper layer of coarse sand (at least 50mm thick). The base density must meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or disturbed due to construction or precipitation, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the medium coarse sand base layer.

2. The axillary corners within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline should be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel. The backfilling range must be at least the supporting Angle 2α plus 30, and the backfilling compactness must adhere to the technical regulations.

3. Grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's dimensions (length, width, and depth) should be determined based on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, the area should be immediately backfilled with medium coarse sand to ensure density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline is likely due to factors such as pipeline load or soil changes, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles are recommended. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations are not suitable and should be avoided.
