Installation Instructions

 

During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the appropriate connection method is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common connection methods for MPP power cable protection tubes to help you understand their characteristics and the specific scenarios where each method excels.

01, Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all necessary welding requirements. Conduct a test run of the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the required welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol before heating to remove any oil stains.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Support parts of the pipe outside the rack with supports. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and proceed to mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three cycles before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Check the end faces; the displacement should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When joining, there should be no noticeable gap between the pipe faces, complying with a gap width of 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, Once the heating plate reaches the preset temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling reaches the designated height. Reduce the pressure so the pipe end faces contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.

06,When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Join the two pipe ends quickly, ensuring the switching time is minimal and within the specified limit. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out the molten material, which can degrade welding quality.

07,Increase the pressure to the designated value and maintain it during cooling. Once the pipe has naturally cooled to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
