1. For the optimal installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it's crucial to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. These techniques are paramount to achieving peak performance and ensuring the pipeline's durability. Avoid using screw connections or bonding at all costs, as they can undermine the pipeline’s integrity and strength. Utilize specialized tools crafted for precision to execute each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection flawlessly. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process to mitigate damage risks and ensure safety.
2. To ensure compatibility and reliability, always use polyethylene pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating during connections. Prior to beginning the connection, perform a detailed test to confirm the quality adheres to the necessary standards, thereby assuring a secure, reliable, and enduring pipeline.
3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it's imperative to maintain impeccably clean pipe ends for a seamless and efficient connection. Seal pipe openings temporarily at the conclusion of each work session to prevent any contamination. Inspect the interface immediately after completing the connection to confirm it is secure and devoid of defects.
4. The heating plate should be meticulously cleaned with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, to ensure optimal heat transfer and connection quality. It is essential to adhere strictly to the manufacturer's guidelines regarding heating time and temperature for the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings, to achieve the best possible results.
5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as indicated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, ensure no movement or pressure is applied to the connecting parts to maintain a strong, stable connection.
6. After completing the hot-melt weld, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour to verify the integrity and reliability of the pipeline. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, fill it with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness to confirm a successful and reliable connection.
7. Only after the final acceptance inspection has been successfully passed, confirming that all standards and specifications have been met, can the pipeline engineering construction be deemed operational. This ensures a safe, efficient, and effective water supply system.
