1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, rely solely on electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Do not use screw connections or bonding. Utilize specialized tools for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection, and avoid open flames during the heating process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, perform a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. Maintain clean pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Inspect the interface immediately upon completing the connection.
 
4. Clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the hot-melt weld, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is considered operational only after passing the final acceptance inspection.
