Installation Instructions

1. To ensure the integrity and durability of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid screw connections or bonding. Utilize specialized tools for every type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection, and refrain from using open flames during the heating process.

2. Polyethylene pipes should be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection, perform a thorough test to verify that the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are kept clean. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the conclusion of each work session, and inspect the interface immediately after completing the connection.

4. Prior to and after hot melt butt welding, diligently clean the heating plate with a clean cotton cloth. Follow the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the recommended pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure bond.

6. After the connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
