Installation Instructions

 

In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method plays a crucial role. Selecting the correct connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand their unique characteristics and application scenarios.

01, Before installation, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the required standards. Perform an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that match the specifications of the pipe into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature. Before heating, wipe the surface of the heating plate with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring that the length of the extension at both ends is equal. Support the parts outside the pipe rack. Position the pipe at the same height as the frame's centerline, and secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Remove the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end faces, ensuring the displacement of both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. There should be no obvious gap between the two end faces, and any gap width should comply with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it in the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, ensuring the pipe end face contacts the heating plate. Continue heating until the specified time.

06,When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame, swiftly remove the heating plate, and close the two pipe ends. The switching time should be minimal, not exceeding the specified value. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material, which would reduce welding quality.

07,Raise the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.

Are you trading company or factory?

We are a professional manufacturer and welcome to visit our factory at any time.

How long is your delivery time? For small quantity products, they will be delivered to you by international courier (DHL, FedEx, TNT, etc.) or by air. It usually takes 3-5 days for you to receive the goods after dispatch. For large quantity products, delivery is by sea, which takes days to weeks to reach your destination port, depending on the port's location.

Can you provide samples?

Yes, samples are available. For standard products, samples are free; you only need to cover the freight cost. For high-value products, you need to pay the freight and a certain product cost. Once we establish a regular business relationship or if you become our VIP customer, free samples will be provided upon request.
