Installation Instructions
 

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. Key methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be placed on an earth arc base. For regular soil quality, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on the undisturbed soil foundation or a well-compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. If the soil quality is poor, opt for a sand gravel base layer with a minimum thickness of 200mm. This can also be layered in two stages: a lower layer of gravel with particle sizes of 5-32mm, 100-150mm thick, and an upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must align with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls below design requirements or is compromised due to construction precipitation or other factors, the foundation must be reinforced first. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness must meet technical regulation standards.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. After joint completion, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced prior to pipeline laying.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, adopt composite foundation treatment methods such as sand or stone piles. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations are not recommended.
