Installation Instructions

 

1. Before commencing the installation, each PE water supply pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection to ensure it strictly adheres to the highest product standards. Any pipe that does not meet these stringent standards is strictly prohibited from being installed.

2. Relocate each pipe with exceptional care. It is crucial to avoid dragging, rolling, or using heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment to transport the pipes within the trench.

3. During the pipe laying process, ensure that the trench remains completely dry. Ideally, the trench should be excavated concurrently with the pipe laying. The groove length of the trench must match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand upon completing the interface.

4. When cutting pipes to the required lengths, use precise mechanical methods to achieve a clean, flat cut that is perpendicular to the pipe axis. Do not use open flames for cutting under any circumstances.

 

5. When altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always utilize appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid making any openings directly on the pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Lay the pipes according to the specified slope from the design requirements, ensuring that the elevation error remains within the limits set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. In environments with low ambient temperatures or near-minimum conditions, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are meticulously clean and free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply appropriate anti-corrosion treatments to metal components such as looping flanges and bolts, based on soil quality and relevant standards.
