Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes are versatile, involving mechanical connections and a series of advanced thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a secure and reliable joint.

1. The pipeline should be installed on an earth arc base. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill below the pipe bottom. If the soil quality is poor, use a sand-gravel base layer with at least 200mm thickness. This can be arranged in two layers: the lower layer composed of 100-150mm thick gravel (5-32mm particle size) and the upper layer of coarse sand with a minimum thickness of 50mm. The base density should comply with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or compromised due to construction precipitation, the foundation must be fortified first. Once the foundation achieves the specified bearing capacity, the medium coarse sand base layer can be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the pipeline's supporting Angle range must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend beyond the supporting Angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness must meet technical regulations.

3. Grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. Groove dimensions (length, width, and depth) should match the pipe joint size. After joint completion, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately to the required density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, use composite treatment methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to ensure stability and longevity.
