Installation Instructions
1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. These techniques guarantee optimal performance and unmatched durability. Avoid using screw connections or bonding at all costs, as they can compromise the pipeline's structural integrity and strength. Each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection should be executed with specialized tools for precise workmanship. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process to prevent damage and uphold safety standards.
2. Ensure polyethylene pipes are joined using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating to achieve unrivaled compatibility and reliability. Before starting the connection process, conduct a thorough test to ensure that the quality meets the stringent required standards, thereby securing a durable and long-lasting pipeline.
3. During the joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to maintain pristine pipe ends for a seamless and efficient connection. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal pipe openings to prevent any contamination. Conduct an immediate inspection of the interface upon completing each connection, ensuring it is secure and free from defects, thus guaranteeing integrity and functionality.
4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. This ensures optimal heat transfer and exceptional connection quality. It is vital to strictly adhere to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings for best results.
5. Meticulously follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply any pressure to the connecting parts during these periods to ensure a strong, stable, and secure connection.
6. After completing the connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour to ensure the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, then check for water tightness to confirm a successful and secure connection.
7. The pipeline engineering construction is deemed operational only after passing the final acceptance inspection. This thorough process ensures that all standards and specifications have been met, guaranteeing a safe and effective water supply system.
