Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to exclusively use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly forbidden. Ensure that each connection type is achieved with specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. When connecting polyethylene pipes, it is essential to use PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to beginning the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards.

3. Ensure that the pipe ends are pristine when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session. Inspect the interface immediately upon completing the connection.

 

4. Clean the heating plate thoroughly with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these periods.

6. After the connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
