Installation Instructions

During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the correct connection method is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common connection methods for MPP power cable protection tubes, helping you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each technique.

01. Prior to installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary welding requirements. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch to ensure proper functionality. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02. Clean both ends of the pipe to remove any dirt. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with appropriate supports. Align the pipe at the same height as the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, and insert a milling cutter to mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends, then remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three rotations. Retract the movable frame and turn off the milling cutter switch.

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Check the end faces; the displacement should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Ensure there is no visible gap between the two end faces, adhering to the standard gap width: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends circumference flips, achieving minimum curling height as specified. Reduce the pressure so the pipe ends contact the heating plate, continuing heating for the specified duration.

06.When the heat absorption time is reached, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends, keeping the switching time as brief as possible, within the specified limit. Ensure the closing pressure is not excessive to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07.Raise the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during the cooling phase. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
