The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as B and C tubes, are diverse and technologically advanced. These include mechanical connections and a series of thermal fusion procedures, such as butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections. Each method ensures a secure and durable link, tailored to meet the specific needs of your project.

1. The pipeline should be installed on an earth arc foundation. For general soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or the backfilled compacted foundation below the pipe. If the soil quality of the foundation is poor, a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick should be used. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 standards. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected by construction, the foundation must be reinforced before proceeding. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, the medium coarse sand foundation layer can be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be at least the supporting Angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness must adhere to technical regulations to ensure structural integrity.

3. Grooves at the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The dimensions of the groove (length, width, and depth) are determined by the pipe joint size. After joint completion, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure proper density and stability.

4. In areas where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to load or soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced before laying the pipeline. This proactive measure helps maintain pipeline integrity and function.
For foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, consider composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, as they do not offer the flexibility required for this type of piping system.
