The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass a range of advanced techniques, such as mechanical connection and various thermal fusion methods. The primary modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be installed on an earth arc foundation. For standard soil quality, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid over undisturbed soil or compacted backfill below the pipe. For poor soil conditions, a gravel base layer at least 200mm thick is recommended. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 5-32mm sized gravel at a thickness of 100-150mm, topped with a layer of coarse sand at least 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or is compromised due to factors like construction precipitation, the foundation must be reinforced to meet specified bearing capacities before laying the medium coarse sand layer.

2. Within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation, the axillary corners must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness of the backfill must adhere to technical regulations.

3. During the pipeline laying process, grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection should be excavated accordingly. The dimensions of these grooves-length, width, and depth-should be determined based on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is secured, it should be backfilled with medium coarse sand to the required density immediately.

4. In sections where the pipeline is susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to load changes or ground soil variations, the foundation must be reinforced prior to pipeline installation.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, composite foundation methods such as sand piles and stone piles should be utilized. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations are not recommended.
