Installation Instructions
 

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as b and c tubes, encompass mechanical connections and various thermal fusion procedures. The primary techniques are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections.

1. Pipeline installation should commence on a base of either undisturbed earth or compacted backfill. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand. If the foundation has poor soil quality, use a sand-gravel base layer of at least 200mm, potentially laid in two layers: the lower layer of gravel (5-32mm particle size, 100-150mm thick) and the upper layer of coarse sand (minimum 50mm thick). Ensure the base density complies with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations with insufficient bearing capacity due to construction or precipitation, reinforce the foundation until the required bearing capacity is achieved before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the backfill compactness must adhere to the technical regulations.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove's dimensions-length, width, and depth-should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is secured, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline.
For foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
