Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools, and avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure integrity and performance.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then thoroughly check for water tightness to guarantee system reliability.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and requirements have been met.
