Installation Instructions

 

1. Before installation, conduct a meticulous inspection of each pipe to guarantee adherence to product standards. Pipes that do not meet these stringent standards must not be installed under any circumstances.

2. Exercise the highest level of care when handling pipes during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using equipment such as forklifts, tractors, or any heavy machinery for moving pipes within the trench.

3. Maintain a dry trench throughout the pipe laying process. It is advisable to dig the trench simultaneously with laying the pipes. The trench groove length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand upon completing the interface.

4. When cutting pipes to the required lengths, employ mechanical methods to ensure a clean, flat cut perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames or any other non-mechanical methods for cutting.

 

5. For changes in pipe diameters or connections to branch pipes, always use the appropriate pipe fittings. Do not create openings directly on pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope from the design requirements, ensuring the elevation error remains within the limits established by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. For low ambient temperatures or conditions approaching minimum, utilize fusion or flange connections. Ensure that all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are impeccably clean and free of soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components such as looping flanges and bolts in accordance with soil quality and relevant standards.
