The material of PE water supply pipes is PE (polyethylene) resin, which is polymerized from monomer ethylene. Due to different polymerization reaction conditions such as pressure and temperature during polymerization, different densities of resins can be obtained, resulting in high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene, and low-density polyethylene. PE water supply pipes have a series of exceptional advantages such as high toughness, corrosion resistance, crack resistance, stable interface, lightweight, and ease of construction. These attributes make them widely revered in the field of water supply pipe manufacturing. Besides traditional excavation methods, non-excavation techniques can also be employed for installation. The service life of polyethylene pipes surpasses 50 years, as confirmed by international standards, advanced foreign standards, and extensive practical use.

Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited to ensure optimal performance and safety. Always use specialized tools for connecting each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline. Do not use open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Ensure the polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to verify that the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, make sure the pipe ends are clean and pristine. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to keep them clean. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to guarantee integrity.

4. Before and after hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the manufacturer's specified heating time and temperature guidelines for the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure connection.

6. After completing the connections, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of finishing the hot melt weld. Securely expose the joints and fill the pipeline with water, clear any air, and then check for water tightness to ensure there are no leaks.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and safety measures are met.
