Installation Instructions

 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. Key methods include efficient butt fusion, reliable electrical fusion, seamless socket fusion, versatile flange adapter connection, and sturdy compression connection.

1. The pipeline installation must be supported by an earthen arc foundation. For typical soil, a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on undisturbed or compacted backfilled soil beneath the pipe. In cases of poor foundation soil, use a 200mm-thick sand gravel base, which can be layered: a lower gravel layer (5-32mm particle size, 100-150mm thickness) topped with a 50mm thick layer of coarse sand. The base density must align with Table 2 requirements. For soft soil foundations, enhance the foundation if bearing capacity is inadequate or disturbed by construction. After achieving the required bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earthen arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by 30 degrees, ensuring compactness as per technical regulations.
 

 

3. Dig the grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation during pipeline laying. The groove dimensions should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure proper density.

4. In areas prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to maintain stability and integrity.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, adopt composite foundation treatments such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid rigid methods like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
