Installation Instructions

1. For the optimal installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is essential to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. Avoid the use of screw connections and bonding entirely. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipe must be connected with specialized tools, ensuring that open flames are never used during the heating process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are only connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, perform a detailed inspection to confirm that the quality adheres to the required standards.

3. When connecting polyethylene water supply pipelines, make certain that the pipe ends are immaculately clean. Seal the pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session, and promptly inspect the interface once the connection is completed.

4. Before and after conducting hot melt butt welding, thoroughly clean the heating plate with a clean cotton cloth. Strictly follow the manufacturer-recommended heating time and temperature guidelines for the hot melt butt welding machine and the respective pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling times for hot melt butt welding as provided by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, ensure that no movement or additional pressure is applied to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the connections, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. Perform this test within 1 hour of completing the hot melt weld. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, fill the pipeline with water, purge any air, and then check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering project can only be considered operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection.
