Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, use only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. Screw connections or bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure each polyethylene pipeline connection is performed with specialized tools, avoiding open flames for heating.

2. Connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before beginning, conduct a thorough test to ensure quality meets the required standards.

3. Keep pipe ends clean when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Seal pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session and inspect the interface immediately after completing the connection.

4. Clean the heating plate meticulously with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after hot melt butt welding. Follow the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these periods.

6. Conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can be deemed operational only after passing the final acceptance inspection successfully.
