Installation Instructions

 

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections or bonding are strictly prohibited to ensure integrity. Execute every polyethylene water supply pipeline connection with specialized tools, and under no circumstances use open flames for heating.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a thorough test beforehand to confirm that the quality meets the required standards, guaranteeing optimal performance.

3. Maintain impeccable cleanliness of pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Upon completing each connection, immediately inspect the interface to ensure a secure join.

 

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously cleanse the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machines, pipes, and fittings to ensure flawless connections.

5. Strictly follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, avoid moving or applying any pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a strong and durable bond.

6. Post-connection, it is imperative to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure reliability.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, confirming the integrity and performance of the entire installation.
