Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are diverse, offering both mechanical connections and advanced thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring robust and reliable joint integrity.

1. The pipeline should rest on a carefully prepared earth arc base. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base layer on the undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe. For subpar soil, a gravel base layer at least 200mm thick should be used; this can be laid in two layers: a 100-150mm thick lower layer of 5-32mm gravel, topped with a minimum 50mm thickness of coarse sand. The base density must conform to Table 2 standards. For soft soil, if the foundation's bearing capacity is inadequate or compromised by construction activities, it must be fortified before laying the medium coarse sand base layer to meet the required specifications.

2. The axillary corners within the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation support angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill should cover the supporting angle 2α plus 30, ensuring compliance with technical regulations for compactness.

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipe laying. The groove dimensions should match the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, backfill the area with medium coarse sand to the required density immediately.

4. In sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or soil changes, pre-reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to ensure stability.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, use composite treatments like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain flexibility and integrity.
