Installation Instructions

The HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as b and c tubes, can be connected through various advanced techniques. The primary methods include mechanical connections and a suite of thermal fusion processes. Key techniques encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections, ensuring robust and reliable joins.

1. Begin with an earth arc foundation for the pipeline. For typical soil, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. For poor soil conditions, utilize a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness. This can be split into two layers: a lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size) with a thickness of 100~150mm, and an upper layer of coarse sand at least 50mm thick. Ensure the base density complies with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is insufficient due to construction precipitation or other disturbances, strengthen the foundation first. Once the foundation reaches the required bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand base layer.

2. Backfill the axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. Ensure the backfilling extends at least 30 units beyond the supporting angle 2α and meets the compactness standards outlined in the technical regulations.

3. Excavate grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation during the pipeline laying process. Determine the groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. In areas where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline is likely due to pipeline load and soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to ensure stability.
For treating the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, as these are unsuitable for polyethylene drainage pipe installations.
