Installation Instructions

1. For the flawless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is vital to employ only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Strictly avoid screw connections and bonding. Ensure that all connections of polyethylene water supply pipelines are executed using industry-specific, specialized tools. Heating with open flames during the connection process is absolutely prohibited to maintain safety and integrity.

2. To ensure optimal compatibility and performance, polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings that share the identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection, a comprehensive test must be conducted to verify that the quality meets the stringent standards required for durability and reliability.

3. When assembling your polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial that the pipe ends remain in immaculate condition. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to maintain cleanliness. Upon completing any connection, promptly inspect the interface to guarantee a secure and leak-free bond.

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to prevent contamination. Adhere strictly to the precise heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure optimal results.

5. During hot melt butt welding, it is paramount to follow the specifically prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations as stated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. Throughout these periods, do not move or apply any external pressure to the connecting parts to avoid compromising the connection integrity.

6. After completing connections, a decisive water pressure test on the pipes is essential. This test should be conducted within 1 hour post hot-melt weld completion. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, fill the pipeline with water, expel any trapped air, and meticulously inspect for any signs of leakage to ensure water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering project can only be considered fully operational after passing a rigorous final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and specifications have been met to guarantee long-term functionality and safety.
